Poma Culta – a case study about biodynamic fruit growing and the breeding of disease-tolerant apple varieties

Poma Culta is a Swiss non-profit organisation with around 300 members. In 2007, a research station was set up by the organisation to specialise in the breeding of new apple varieties. The methodological approach adopted is based on the classical crossbreeding methods. Furthermore, it is founded on a holistic understanding of living organisms.
